What is Tag.Your.Closet?
Tag.Your.Closet is an idea that started from reading too many fashion blogs, magazines and street-style blogs. When we like what someone else is wearing the first thing that we ask is "Where did you get that from?" and usually the second is "How much did it cost?" Tag.Your.Closet answers both. The idea and the aspiration behind it is to bring one click closer people that love fashion. You can browse looks and ger inspired, you can upload your looks and tag them and you are one click away from buying that dream-jacket that you saw on another person.
How is this working out then?
It is pretty simple really:
If you want to just browse and get inspired feel free to do so.
If you want to upload your look, wow (like) or comment on someone else's look then you need to sign-up.
How to sign up?
It is pretty simple as well. Just click on the sign-up and follow the steps.
What is a LOOK?
A LOOK is a photograph submitted by a user, that is usually his/her own outfit or an outfit that he/she has captured. Each LOOK contains a description of what the person in the outfit is wearing, where they got it and how musch it had costed.
How do I post a LOOK?
Just click on the POST A LOOK button and let the fun begin!
What is WOW?
WOW is your way of liking an outfit. If it has that WOW factor just click WOW and saw your love!
What FAVORITES means?
Those are the LOOKS that have been WOWed the most!
Where can I see the LOOKS that have been recently posted?
Dahhh...in the NEW LOOKS section. Just click the button and you will see them all!
Rules regarding what can I post
- Full body photos are required. Any photo that fails to display at least head-to-knees or neck-to-toe will be deleted.
- A clear view of your outfit. We also love artistic takes of outfits but the point here is for other users to be able to clearly see your outfit!
- Ideally one look per photo. However if you feel that two looks in the same photo will give a better view, well we are ok with it.
- You must be in the photo of the look, (be a photographer that has taken a photo of someone else, a designer that the photo displays your creations.
- Collage photos are allowed. However remember the more views you post in a photo the smallest the details of the outfit will look.
- Do not repost photos. One time is enough, trust us. If we see a photo more than once the photo will be deleted.
- Do not post ads or spam. We want Tag.Your.Closet to be a place that you can browse and not get surprised by unexpected ads that you thought were looks. We support advertising so we can make a living but let us be the ones who decide what that means.
- (Do not post photos that don't belong to you)-under discussion depending the terms of use.
- No nudity in any form or way. We believe that its self-explanatory why we say no!
- No photos of children. Again pretty self-explanatory why we say no!
Can I not-WOW a LOOK?
Well you can't! If you don't like a LOOK just ignore it and don't click WOW. As simple as that! (you don't have to be mean on other people's choices!)
What should I do in case of offensive feedback?
You can delete any comments that have been posted to your look and you find offensive. You can also send us an email and report any user that you find his behavior offensive. We will review your request and act accordingly.
Who made this?
A girl from Athens that loves fashion and art and another girl also from Athens that loves design and art. They met from twitter and it just so it happened that they both work here. (you can say that fate brought them together!)
